How am I going to describe that...erm...let me think first.
haha...last night, when I wrote to Andy to tell him what I wanna to say about his movie, I also have had a hard time thinking..
OK, I think, I should say what I rate this movie... I'll rate it 9 out of 10.
Since small, I love reading books regarding philosophies and strategies.
I find those books, are not only been theoretically make sense, but, practically they are be able to help us in our daily life.
I love war strategies. Just like SunZi's War Strategies. I find it is interesting.
When I read it, the idea the way of SunZi thinks, provoke me that in daily life, I can also think like him, and make the decision like him.
Same goes to Mohism.
It's the teaching that spread the love, rather than war.
Watching those things is even more interesting that reading a book about it, cuz' you can see the action!!
Too bad, movie is always very limited. So, if one wants to know further, have to go for books again.
OK...back to BoW.
The results was not bad...I went for the first show of the day, which is the screening day. The first show, already is showing 90% audience.
It's a weekday, but, maybe it's due to school holiday, so, most people are very free.
haha...tell you guys what, most of the audiences are youngster!!
All young young faces...
Just like I've said just now, they're now having holiday, and including me lar...I'm having holiday too, so, I'm quite free lor..hehe... =P
The story line, no need me to say further, I just love it.
If to compare to "Hero" (starred by Jet Li, Tony LCW, etc...), I find that BoW is a greater one, cuz' at least I didn't fall asleep when watching it. There is not a single scene that I feel like I wanna to fall asleep. No scene that make me feel like, "Oh, can I fast forward this scene".
So, this is already a very good job!!!
I guess, you guys had noticed, since, I'm highly praising this movie, and yet why it is still rated 9 only.
The whole movie is beautiful and is nice, the only bad point is that the vocal that they find to dubbed for Andy is bad!!
I don't like that voice.
Once, Andy opens his mouth to talk, and the other vocal I heard, straight away, I feel that this vocal is not suitable for GeLi.
OK...you guys must be saying, I'm bias and so and what lar...
I'm not the first time watching Andy's movies, with listening others dubbing for him.
Those previous one, I could still accept it, but, just not this one.
I remember I listened to a radio interview, that Andy said, in "House of Flying Daggers", he also found a man to dub for him. In this BoW, in fact, they want to have that man again, cuz' his voice is really about 90~95% similar to Andy.
But, it was said that in this movie that voice is not the one they're looking for.
OK..I thought they would to find someone more suitable or so...
But, no!!
It's really bloody hell out of it!! That vocal is totally fail the whole plot!!
Andy's mando is not standard, so, in this kind of movie, they need to look for someone who can have a better pronunciation and standard spoken mando.
OK, I understand that!!
But, please not that voice can??
It really spoil the whole thing man!!
GeLi is a man with love and with much emotions, and always act rationally. To me, this time, if they would to use back that vocal they used to dubbed for him in HoFD, it would be perfect...

Otherwise, I'll give this movie 10 lor...because of that stupid vocal, I can't!! :x *hummmppphhh*
A scene that gave me a very deep impression, is when Andy rode on the horse come back to the Liang City after the city was seized by Zhou's army.
OK...that horse-riding scene is just a very short scene, but, I love that scene very much!!
After watching BoW, immediately, I gotta rush for the next show, "Heavenly Mission", starred by Ekin Cheng, Stephen Fung, Chilam Cheung...
The showtime for this is 2:30pm, but, my BoW ended 3:00pm.
At first, the cinema assistant told me that BoW ended at 2:45pm, just by estimating the trailers & advos in HM, I thought I could make it...but, never thought that BoW ended at 3:00pm!! o_O
Recently, suddenly, I saw a lot of Chilam...haha...bet, he must need to have more money to cope with his new memer in his family.
Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS to Chilam cuz' got a baby boy!!
And, congrate to Anita Yuen too =)
Since a drama serial I watched, I like Chilam, he is cute. =) And, I always like Anita, cuz' she is pretty and funny. Like to watch her movies... =)
That's why, I always say, I'm REALLY looking forward for "Protege". It's been scheduled on-screen next year, February. I nthis movie, I can see Andy again, then Louis, and Anita!! =)
OK...long long time, didn't see Ekin on big screen...he still look like when he acted in "Young & Dangerous". This time, he is a triad and is one who turn to a good man after being imprisoned for 8 years.
Stephen plays another triad, and is walking in the path like Ekin. Ekin wants to help Stephen to become good, but things just not easy...
Chilam is Ekin best friend.

I know I fall asleep for a few seconds in between...
But, happy things to share is that, I can understand the Japanese, I mean, some...haha...am improving, huh...
Anyway, I'm not planning to take Level4. I think, I can't cope it anymore...
It's not easy to learn...
I'm a slow learner!!
You see, I use about 6 years to learn my chinese, from knowing zero word to now...I'm still no good in chinese...
So, I think, I gotta spend another 6 years or so to learn my Japanese, not just that 4 semesters, which is about 12months to learn so many grammars and vocabs.
I can't cope with that.
I'm major in Maths, not in Japanese. I can't spend my fulltime on that particular Japanese...
By the way, I am having an International Proficiency Japanese Test soon.
It's on 3rd, next month, but, I'm not prepared for it yet...hehe... =P
Last night, I was reading Andy's post.
Though, it's not the latest one, but, I read it last night only cuz' the last time I tried, the page couldn't load properly...
and just to know that there is a line which touched me...
